Family Movie Night
Our first Movie Night was a huge success on 9/29. PTA raised
$407.69 for our school. We had approximately 177 people at
the movies. We collected 241 books for classroom teachers.

one (or more) books for donation to the classroom libraries.
This was a wonderful family
event held in the school's cafeteria. Everyone brought a blanket & pillow
to watch the show.
Horizon Elementary held
their fall Book Fair Sept. 26 through the 30th. Book Fairs
give students and parents a chance to not only pick out books
for themselves, but to purchase books that their children's
teachers have hand-picked for their classroom libraries.
The students really enjoy choosing their own books. We thank
the PTA and
all the volunteers who helped
out this year. The Book Fair was a huge success, and we look
forward to the next one!
