Want to be a part of the PTA?

The P.T.A. is an integral part of every school. The P.T.A. is a wonderful organization that does unbelievable things for the school, and our children. The PTA consists of teachers and parents who work together raising funds to assist in obtaining needs for the classroom and the children, in addition to providing entertainment with fun events.

Have you had an interest in being a school volunteer or joining the PTA but just didn't know how to go about it? I will admit, finding out information on who, what, and where in joining is kind of tough. That's why this page is here; To help you easily and comfortably get involved. Because we know you want to, but don't know how.

First thing to understand, there is a misconception that is it's a full-time job...or even a part-time job, but it's not. There are members who join but are not involved at all. Others spend a few hours here and there helping plan events, setting up, or participating in the PTA & school events. Thare are also members who spend many hours each month preparing and executing PTA agendas. Whether you have 2 hours a month, or 6 hours a week, the PTA would be glad to have you aboard. Being a part of the PTA is a very rewarding opportunity, and we would like to invite you to try it out.
